Examples of behavior that contribute to creating a positive environment include:

  • Being respectful of differing opinions and experiences
  • Giving and receiving constructive feedback gracefully
  • Focusing on what is best for the community
  • Showing empathy towards other community members
  • Welcoming newcomers and helping them get started
  • Asking questions when uncertain rather than making assumptions
  • Attributing credit to others’ work and contributions

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • Harassment, bullying, or threatening language or behavior
  • Discrimination based on any protected characteristic
  • Unwelcome sexual advances or attention
  • Publishing others’ private information without permission

Community leaders are responsible for clarifying this Code of Conduct and enforcing it through appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any behavior they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

All reports will be reviewed and investigated confidentially. Community leaders will:

  1. Acknowledge receipt of the report within 24 hours
  2. Conduct a fair and thorough investigation
  3. Take appropriate action (education, warning, or removal)
  4. Communicate outcomes when appropriate

We take all reports seriously and will maintain confidentiality of the reporter unless they choose otherwise. We will not disclose a reporter’s identity without their consent.

Community members who violate this Code of Conduct may face:

  1. First Offense: Warning and explanation of why the behavior is unacceptable
  2. Repeated Offense: Temporary ban from community channels (Discord, GitHub discussions)
  3. Severe or Sustained Offense: Permanent removal from the community

This Code of Conduct applies to all community spaces, including:
